Day 1
Day 1 - Travel to Queen Elizabeth

Begin your scenic drive towards the west with a brief stop at the Uganda Equator for photographs. Next stop is Mbarara town for lunch. Get back on board and journey to QEP. The drive traverses the park as you drive to headquarters, an occasion to see animals such as the gigantic savannah elephant, and the toothy warthogs. Dinner and night at the Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 2
Day 2 - Total Game Exploration

This morning is dedicated to total game exploration as you wake up very early in the morning to catch a glimpse of animals that like to escape the daylight, while others welcome the day in delight after a long night's rest.

Antelopes like the waterbucks and bushbucks among others can be seen. Look out for lion and leopard as they stalk the antelopes. Get back to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation by the pool or lodge grounds.

After lunch, prepare for an afternoon boat-ride on Kazinga Channel. This stretch of water that links Lake Edward to Lake George has the highest concentration of hippos in Africa. Crocodiles can also be seen in big numbers.

The channel supports abundant bird life that feeds on the fish and parasites which live on the hippos. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Day 3 - Transfer to Bwindi Via Kyambura (Chambura) Gorge

Early check-out of the lodge and transfer to Kyambura (Chambura) Gorge, to see chimpanzees, after which you proceed to BINP. Spend the rest of the evening in the home of the mountain gorillas. Relax and prepare for tomorrow's gorilla trekking activity. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Homestead.

Day 4
Day 4 - Gorilla Tracking

The long awaited day is here. Wake up very early and have your breakfast. Get your packed lunch and assemble for a briefing by the ranger guide. Get hold of your walking stick and follow your group guide to enter the misty gorilla sanctuary to begin trekking activity.

Keep discipline as you hike the forested ranges and listen to instructions given by your ranger guide. Maximum silence is required as you approach the gorilla nest as it keeps the great apes in their normal state of behavior, allowing you to see them interact in their natural habitat. Maximum time allowed with gorillas is only 1 hour.

Depart as soon as the guide advises. Return to the lodge with lifetime memories of the fascinating mountain gorillas.

Day 5
Day 5 Transfer to L.Mburo NP

After breakfast, transfer to LMNP as you continue to explore Uganda's abundant wildlife. The drive itself takes you through banana plantations, farms with long-horned Ankole cattle, villages and trading centers.

Feel free to ask your guide to stop for photos and sight views. Arrive at LMNP in time for lunch after which you embark on an exciting and scenic boat-ride on Lake Mburo. The unique vegetation gives you another opportunity to see hippos and crocodiles, as well as bird species, making the ride very worthwhile.

Your dinner and overnight is reserved at either Mantana Tented Camp or Mihingo Lodge.
